This document is an accurate, but not exact, representation of the report as published by the U.S. Department of Defense.

Line breaks have been kept the same as with the original, so Page x, Line n should almost always be the same on this document and on the original.

In addition to correcting typographical errors in the original, the order of some unnumbered pages at the beginning of the report have been rearranged to facilitate web publishing. For example, in the original report, the Table of Contents followed the Letter of Tranmittal and the List of Volumes. In this document, the Table of Contents has been moved to the top, preceeding the Letter of Transmittal and the List of Volumes.

Some minor design changes have been made, due to the differences between publishing a typewritten document versus publishing an electronic document. For example, the original document uses simple page numbering at the top of each page, like this:

In this web version the page numbering at the top of each page has been modified to appear like this:

In the event a page in the original document was not numbered, the following convention was used:

A pair of rainbow lines have been added to the top and bottom of each page.

Navigation controls have been added where appropriate.

None of these changes should adversely impact the completeness and/or actual content of the report.
